But this Ban Lee Bak Kut Teh has its own fair share of fans too. And I found that out just last weekend.
After a show at KLPac, we wanted to have dinner.. and the restaurant seem like a good nearby stop.
It was my first time here and had a rather pleasant dinner at this restaurant by the road.
The tau kee beancurd was pretty yummy. So were the vegetables.
But the prize food here is actually the bak kut teh itself. Why?
Well for the flavour of the soup. The herbal taste is strong on this rather clear style bak kut teh.
Partly the cooking over charcoal gave this aroma and taste.
Owh and my verdict?
Probably not the best bak kut teh ever, but definitely one of the must-try ones in KL! :)
