The Year I Go For My Dreams

I know that we are already quite into 2011. Well, the countdown is so last year and do seem quite distance.. However, I'm still feeling the excitement of the New Year.

Yes. I still find 2011 very fresh.

You can say that I'm super excited about this year. It's like a brand new start in many ways (putting the past behind)...

Also, I think Paulo Coelho's (the author of The Alchemist) tweet kinda hit me, a lot:

"let 2011 be the year we go for our dreams".

I realise that for the past years, while I have achieved some of my career dreams which I am proud of.. and having been interviewed in the press for my works (which I must admit is nice)... however, I think that I took a lil long on some of these works, and in turn the opportunity costs for my other dreams that are closer to my heart gets postponed!

To a big extent, I'm feeling the delay a lil too long now.. Paulo's tweet & my reflection while doing my resolutions in Dec made me realise that I can't waste anymore time.

It is time for me to do the things I've been wanting to do... and that include jumping in and doing some 'crazy' stuff. I know it's gonna be challenging, and the road maybe a lil bumpy.

It's gonna be weird too (not your usual career choice), and I'm nervous.. but deep inside, I'm also feeling all excited and ready to roll! So yeah, come on 2011, let's do this! :)

*Not all the dreams are career related. Some are out of interests. But it's hard to differentiate them at times, as I intertwine them so much.
