The exterior of the mall looks similar to the likes of Pavilion KL in some ways. I knew that I was in for a 'high end' experience.
And true enough, the interior of the mall is rather high end... with a fair bit of branded shops. I enjoyed the music & bookstores here, which had a good selection of both local and international mix.
I think space is one thing that this mall boasts - there's lots of open space, plus a garden as well (if not wrong, the mall won some international award for this).
It was a pity I didn't have much more time to explore this beautiful mall for time constrain. But the time I had there, this mall sure gave one unique experience... something that one will be coming back for more! :)
The mall series continues...
Hello! Greenbelt has definitely changed lots since I was last there! It's got a number of awards in 2003 and 2004, but I think the one you're referring to is the International Design and Development Award (ICSC Center Build, 2004) =)
ReplyDeleteFrom the photos, it looks really high-end o. :D But why it was called greenbelt? :p
ReplyDeleteNice. I was at KLCC yesterday but was surprised at the lack of crowds esp visitors from the Middle-East which could be due to the fasting month or the flu. hmm..
ReplyDeleteWow! This is really a high class mall just by looking at its interior. Reminds me of Pavilion and Gardens in KL and also Siam Paragon in Bangkok.
ReplyDeleteDid you stay until the evening, it's more fun in the evening.
ReplyDeleteIt is called Greenbelt because they retained the greens, and landscaped the area. Strip of green, unlike in other malls.
